The Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs (GOMA) is a cabinet level agency in the Executive Department of Maryland State Government. GOMA is a “one-stop shop” for information and support to help women and minority businesses navigate the State’s procurement and certification processes. GOMA is responsible for monitoring and reporting each agency’s MBE performance with the laws and regulations (COMAR) governing the Minority Business Enterprise Program and oversees the Small Business Reserve Program (SBR). GOMA also sponsors conferences and seminars that provide information to minority entrepreneurs regarding various business opportunities with state government.
